Two Extricated After BMW Crashes Into Stone Wall In Westchester

Two people were seriously injured during a single-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester over the weekend.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday on Old Post Road near Seminary Road in Bedford, said Bedford PD Lt. Andrew Bellantone.

The vehicle, a 2006 BMW 550, was traveling southwest on Old Post Road before it struck a stone wall and came to rest on its roof in the northbound lane, Bellantone said.

The Bedford Fire Department extricated the 24-year-old male driver and the 25-year-old female passenger. Both were transported to Westchester County Medical Center with serious injuries, but not life-threatening, he said.

This is an active, ongoing investigation, police said.
